White Glove Technologies Acquires RIATA Technologies

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Austin and San Antonio, August 2, 2010 - White Glove Technologies, a managed information technology (IT) services provider, announced its second acquisition of 2010 with its purchase of RIATA Technologies, the second largest network integration and services firm in Austin. The acquisition creates the largest IT managed services provider (MSP) that is headquartered in and focused exclusively on serving small and medium-sized businesses in Texas.  The combined organization will retain the leadership talent of both companies and enhance the service capabilities, client service levels and industry expertise that each offers to their expansive customer base.

“As we continue to execute our growth-through-acquisition plans, we seek out companies who are committed to providing the highest level of service to our valued clients,” said Carey Balzer, President of White Glove, who will continue in that role. “RIATA is the perfect fit. They have a strong team that has consistently delivered quality services to their client base through best in class practices that are second to none.  By pooling the talent and resources of both companies, we will be able to more quickly take advantage of evolving IT trends to the benefit of our clients while providing new opportunities for our employees.”

“We are excited to join forces with White Glove. Both companies have been ranked on MSPMentor’s top 100 managed service provider list and with over 7,500 devices managed, we are now the clear leader in Texas,” said Mr. Wald, CEO of RIATA, who will continue as Chief Executive Officer of White Glove. “This combination allows us to draw from a larger pool of talent and positions us to more efficiently deliver business-empowering technology innovations involving virtualization, the Cloud, and Infrastructure as a Service.  With Tony Williams remaining on board as Executive Vice President of Operations, I’m also confident that clients of both companies will benefit from a much broader delivery organization that will take us both to a new level.

The combined entities exceed $10 million in annual revenue, with over 80 employees across three offices in Austin and San Antonio providing managed services to hundreds of companies throughout Texas.  The company will retain the White Glove Technologies name and continue to operate out of the 2136 Rutland Drive, Suite B, Austin, Texas 78758 and 8001 Centre Park Drive, Suite 150, Austin, Texas 78754 locations.
